CATCH THE SUMMER

As a creative lead worked alongside a team of strategist, junior creatives to launch an important and unique environmental partnership with Talisker Whisky and Parley For The Oceans, to help protect and preserve 100 Million Square Meters of vital marine ecosystems. The project is an important step for Diageo, demonstrating the importance of sustainability to their brand values while committing to making a real tangible positive change to our shared oceans.

To bring this to life, we developed an overarching campaign that would last over the next five years, whilst laddering up to the Talisker brand identity “Made By The Sea”. This partnership saw the birth of “Rewild Our Seas” a campaign tagline that not only spoke directly to the act of reconnecting to the ocean but also, a call to action that consumers can rally around.

To bring this to life, we created and crafted the key visuals for the campaign that would be used across every communication touchpoint.

We then developed a strategic social-first launch, which saw us working closely with partnership agency CSM and Parley that brought our audience on a journey that we were embarking on. From launching a microsite (https://www.rewildourseas.com/) to developing a comms platform and tool kit for the markets. We launched the campaign with a teaser film shot off the coast of South Africa, champion and beauty and fragility of the underwater forest.

The first year of the campaign culminated with a brand film that saw Ross Edgely come onboard the cause and pledging his support alongside ambassadors from a number of key markets.
